BHUBANESHWAR-PURI - 3RD JULY

An early morning depareture from Kolkata to cover our next journey down south. The first stop would be Bhubaneshwar a 480 km drive from Kolkata. enroute to Vishakapatnam which would be another 420 km from Bhubaneshwar. Saurabh Ghosh accomapnied me foir this 2 day trip. Photograps above says it all -

- 4 lane super highway, just keep giving Rs 35 toll every 35 km for next 350 km...!!!

- touching 150 km per hour -( just for the kicks, we are driving safely)

- Images of country side of Orrisa- its just just beautiful, lush greem medows, cattle market, temples, endless roads..

- Blessings from Gurdawara datan sahib at Cuttack..

- Ginger hotel at Bhubaneshwar, first time experience and a good one too..

- a trip to sacred town of Puri and Konark-

- we were lucky to see Rath Yatra surrounded by thousands of people and Jaganath Temple.

- The deadly waves of Puri beach which just goes wilder and wilder.

- An experience of night driving through country side from Puri to Bhubaneshwar- 80 km drive.

- Rains and more rains, Explored bhubaneshwar city looking for food..
- a total of 700 km drive this day and it was tiring...
