a visit to famous Meenakshi temple in the evening. the temple complex is really beautiful.

We reached Madurai at 4 pm and it took us 1 hour to reach to the other side of the city to be at this beautiful garden hotel on a hillock The Gateway Hotel. The staff present were excited and we drove to the hotel on top of the hill. Local media interaction and a nice chit chat with staff at Cafeteria. The staff expresses themselves by way of personally giving messages of support to this journey.
A visit to Meenakshi temple in the eveing was a memorable experience.I would be entering Kerala today and would be hitting monsoons on the way up the Western Ghats. Looking forward to "God's own Country"
From the East Coast ...you will now be driving on the West Coast !!!...watch out for the Kerala Bus drivers....you will feel the Punjab Roadways drivers are like old ladies....by the way how was the tip of India-Kanyakumari
