The east Coast Road-ECR is a pleasure to drive..The road is next to the coast line and you don't know whether to look at road or the scenic views you get on left and right.

we left at 8 from the hotel accompanied by Lakshmi who knew the local area very well. A stop over at mahabalipuram and Pondicherry since we didn't want to miss these 2 coastal cities. Great time as we stopped and interacted with people on the roads and lakshmi helped me with the local language. this side of India is a scenic beauty..really
